Packaging & Delivery

Quarry Mill offers free nationwide delivery of over 400 natural stone veneers. Our premium natural stone veneers are cut to order from our North American quarries and shipped on pallets directly to your home.

Pallet Packaging

Our stone is packaged on standard pallets/crates depending on the product. Full pallets typically contain 150 square feet of flats or 50 linear feet of corners. Depending on the stone type, the pallets will either be crated or palletized, then shrink-wrapped or covered with wire mesh. The standard flats pallets weigh approximately 2,200 pounds and the standard corner pallets weigh approximately 1,000 pounds. Our packaging method creates relatively light pallets which allows for common carrier delivery and easier mobility on job sites.

Note: Although full pallets contain 150 sq ft of flats or 50 ln ft of corners, you can order any quantity of stone needed for your project. You may receive partial pallets based on the quantity you need. For example, an order of 570 square feet of flats will receive three 150 sq ft pallets and one 120 sq ft pallet.

Free Nationwide Delivery

Quarry Mill offers free nationwide delivery to all customers with standard street access in the lower 48 states (Alaska and Hawaii available with additional costs). Our natural thin stone veneers are shipped directly from our quarries to your job site on a per-pallet basis. This “less than truckload” (LTL) method is generally the most convenient as the stone is delivered directly to your home/job site.

Note: The delivery agent will call to schedule a delivery appointment. You or your contractor must have a forklift or skid-steer with pallet forks on-site at the time of delivery to unload the pallets. Please inspect the stone before the delivery agent’s departure and note any damage on the freight bill of lading. Report any damage to Quarry Mill within 24 hours. This step will aid in the return/replacement process.

Quarry Mill Minimum Order

It is not cost-effective to ship small quantities of natural stone. There is a minimum order requirement of 500 square feet of flats. The minimum applies per product and cannot be combined.

Quarry Mill Lead Times

Quarry Mill natural stone veneer is cut to order directly from our USA and Canada-based quarries unless noted in the product description. Quarry Mill makes no guarantees on the product lead time and all quoted lead times are approximate. We use national freight carriers to make all deliveries. The freight companies will provide an estimated transit time but can also experience delays.

Adding Additional Stone

It is important to calculate your stone quantity accurately. We can and do send out smaller amounts as customers add on or make changes after starting the installation. All stone orders must be shipped on a pallet and cannot be shipped via UPS ground. No matter how small, any additional amount of stone will have a $500 shipping fee and the same unloading requirements.

Note: Additional stone orders may have additional lead times of several weeks and may have additional variation from the initial order due to stone veins and production runs at the quarries.
