Quarry Mill sent us excellent stone for our home in Washington! We recently built a home and purchased Spreewald natural stone veneer from Quarry Mill. Spreewald natural stone veneer is a unique take on natural moss rock. The stone showcases hand-picked pieces of natural moss rock that are split with a hydraulic press to make rectangles. This thin veneer was created in response to customer demand for a moss rock that had a more formal appearance. The splitting process is labor intensive with a considerable amount of hand work done by our craftsmen.
Spreewald falls loosely into the ashlar style but some of the larger pieces could be considered castle rock. The stone has a full range of earth tones and a rustic feel with lichen growing on the pieces. Spreewald is in stock and ready to ship.
