Eagle River is a unique ashlar style linear take on natural moss rock.  Moss rock is a collective term used to describe the pieces of stone that are on the top of or halfway within the layer of topsoil.  The stone is exposed to the elements and weather. Moss rock is unique in that lichen grows on the pieces over time. The raw pieces are collected and sorted by hand.  The natural pieces have irregular shapes which we saw on two parallel sides to create a more linear style stone. This becomes the top and bottom of the natural stone veneer and allows the mason to install the pieces in an ashlar pattern.  ​

We couldn’t be more pleased with the Eagle River stone from Quarry Mill. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better result. We have already specified Quarry Mill stone on other projects that we have in the queue.

Professionally made 12"x13.5" display board made to show the stones' range of color and texture. The pieces of stone will usually be sawn on the edges to fit the board whereas the actual product will not be. Price includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail and typically arrives within five business days. Sample costs are refunded upon placing the stone order.
