A professional experience throughout. Quarry Mill provided natural stone veneer in the Springfield style. I was looking for a no-nonsense stone supplier for this project and Quarry Mill came through. Springfield is a classic grey castle rock style real stone veneer. The quarry from which Springfield is excavated is unusually well layered. Due to the naturally 1” thick layers of the quarry, the veneer has a split back or natural back. The split back has no impact on the installation or final appearance. We are able to considerably reduce our production cost because we do not have to saw the stone on the back with the diamond blade. The reduced production makes Springfield a cost-effective premium stone option. The stone has semi-consistent shades of grey and can be used on its own or in blends where a grey tone is desired.
