Trier Natural Thin Stone Veneer
Trier is a quarried limestone in the natural mosaic pattern. The mosaic style showcases real stone veneer in its most natural state; the edges of the stone have not been split nor sawn. Trier is not a tumbled stone in the standard sense but shows soft signs of natural tumbling that are a result of the quarrying process. As the machines excavate the larger slabs of stone there are smaller pieces that break off. The pieces either fall from the edge of the active quarrying ledge (about four feet) or the operator removes them to get to the next slab. The small irregular fractured pieces of stone are sorted, collected, and sawn into Trier.
