Vail is natural thin cut sandstone with an earthy variety of colors and textures.  The stone pieces are all hand-picked fieldstone.  Fieldstone, in this sense, is the top layer of the quarry. Vail’s stones are the pieces that have separated from the bedrock and have been pushed up through the soil layers by frost over the years.  Some of the pieces of stone are manually pulled from the dirt and other pieces have been exposed to the sun for years creating stunning variation.  Vail is subject to heavy variation with no two production runs being the same; this adds one-of-a-kind uniqueness. It is best to check with us for information on the current batch before ordering.

We added Vail as a water table to our surface. Quarry Mill is great to work with, large selection, and sales if very knowledgeable. Stone was delivered in timely manner which allowed our mason to complete the job a day earlier than expected. Finished job looks great. Thank you.

Vail Natural Stone Veneer Sample Board

Professionally made 12"x13.5" display board made to show the stones' range of color and texture. The pieces of stone will usually be sawn on the edges to fit the board whereas the actual product will not be. Price includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail and typically arrives within five business days. Sample costs are refunded upon placing the stone order.
