Cornwall is a natural thin stone veneer showcasing a blend of granite and quartzite in the classic ashlar style. By blending the two different stone types, Cornwall achieves a greater variation in color and texture while maintaining a historic New England feel.
The individual pieces have heights up to 8”, lengths up to 16”. and a nominal thickness of 1.25”. Cornwall can be installed with a standard half-inch mortar joint or drystacked for a tight fit installation. Drystacking Cornwall is a common installation method to match the early drywalling style of old New England. The early drywalling style involved carefully stacking stones without any adhesive to create a stable, free-standing wall.
