Nottingham Natural Thin Stone Veneer

Nottingham is a tumbled fieldledge style natural thin stone veneer. It embodies the old-world look and feel that can only be accomplished with tumbled stone.  The veneer is cut from natural limestone with soft gold and blue tones.  Nottingham’s gold and blue tones are on the surface and come from the raw stone being stained by minerals as rainwater seeped through the ground over the years.  The raw limestone, however, is more of a neutral white or grey tone and this is brought out by the tumbling process.  As the stones turn and bash against each other, the outer layer is chipped or worn off in places exposing the inner unadulterated limestone. The mix of natural colors and tumbling creates a beautiful subdued old-world natural thin stone veneer.
