Whitney Natural Thin Stone Veneer
Whitney is a natural fieldstone split-face thin veneer. The stone starts as hand-picked fieldstone, which is split with a hydraulic press. Some of the fieldstone pieces that have a naturally flat face are left unaltered to provide color and texture variation to the split-face fieldstone.
The defining characteristic of Whitney is the unique color variations of the natural sandstone. Whitney includes soft red tones as well as lavenders and lilacs with a variation of light and dark. Whitney falls loosely into the ledgestone category of smaller height linear pieces; there are some slightly larger ashlar-style pieces in the mix.
