Conway Natural Thin Stone Veneer
Conway is a natural tumbled quartzite thin veneer in the low height ledgestone style. The stone is unique as it is the only quartzite we tumble. Quartzite is an incredibly hard stone and takes twice as long in the tumbler compared to most other tumbled stones. The quartzite Conway is created from is incredibly hard and measures approximately seven on the Mohs Hardness Scale. To put the hardness rating into perspective, Conway is just above the hardness of a steel nail and will scratch window glass. Conway is cut from the edges of the natural stone slabs. If you were to walk through a canyon, the exposed walls are similar to the stone that gets cut into Conway.
