Black Sands is a dark mosaic-style real stone veneer.  The stone is sought after for its dark almost black tones.  Black Sands is subject to heavy variation and can have greys, earthy browns, and occasional white streaking.  The thin veneer has a split back as Black Sands is produced from the layers of the quarry that are naturally 1” thick. The thicker layers from the quarry are cut with the hydraulic press into our Quincy product.  Black Sands can be blended with Quincy to create a cohesive fieldledge style if desired.  Black Sands’ split back has no impact on the installation or final appearance and allows us to keep our production costs down.  We pass the reduced production cost onto you making Black Sands one of our most affordable premium natural stone veneer options.
