We are very pleased with the Timber Creek stone and the entire experience with Quarry Mill. From the initial phone call, to the sample board, stone selection and delivery, everything was handled with professionalism and a genuine interest in our new home. Timber Creek is a castle rock style real thin stone veneer with beautiful earth tones. The stone is cut exclusively into rectangular shapes and shows only the bedfaces of the natural stone. The color variations come from the changes in the mineral composition between the layers in the quarry. The raw stone for Timber Creek is mined from a shelf rock quarry. Shelf rock quarries have naturally layered stone within the quarry so rainwater is able to penetrate between the layers. As the rainwater flowed through the stone over the years, it carried minerals with it which created the beautiful colors in the natural stone veneer.
