Castine is a natural sandstone thin-cut veneer in the dimensional or sawed height style. The stone has beautiful, soft, and warm tones with some darker mineral-stained pieces in the mix.
The natural blend of colors found in Castine is how the stone exists in nature. It is uncommon to get this type of color variation in a dimensional cut stone. Typically, dimensional stones are cut from large solid blocks roughly the size of an SUV and have little to no mineral staining. The sawed three height cut of Castine makes for clean lines and a relatively straightforward installation.
