Cologne Natural Thin Stone Veneer
Cologne is a natural dolomitic limestone in the castle rock pattern. The stone is a perfect example of the understated beauty of natural stone. From a distance the stone appears a more monochromatic gray, however, upon closer inspection it reveals a soft range and depth of color. The thin veneer is cut from the tops and bottoms of the natural limestone slabs after they have been split into rectangles with a hydraulic press. Cologne showcases a tumbled finish and is a testament to the beauty and old world feel provided by the tumbling process. The tumbled castle rock style is reminiscent of Europe’s medieval fortresses.
