Liberty Natural Thin Stone Veneer

Liberty is a real thin bluestone veneer cut into the dimensional style.  The stone showcases blue-grey or gunmetal tones.  It is the consistent texture of the stone that makes Liberty unique from our other natural stone veneer offerings.  Liberty starts as large blocks of stone that are cut from the quarry.  Then, the large blocks are cut on a gantry or gang saw (multi-blade) in 1” thickness; this process leaves the pieces of stone with a smooth sawn finish on both sides.  The outer surface is treated with a flamed or thermal finish which comes from running a torch over the stone.  The extreme heat causes the top of the stone to pop ever so slightly making a very soft pimpled texture.

NOTE: 90-degree corners are not available, on the corners overlap and interlock the flat pieces.
