Professionally made 12"x13.5" display board made to show the stones range of color and texture. The pieces of stone will usually be sawn on the edges to fit the board whereas the actual product will not be. Price includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail and typically arrives within five business days. Sample costs are credited towards the stone order.

Mooresville is a natural schist thin stone veneer in the ashlar pattern. The stone is a mix of both colors and sizes. There are blue/gray tones and brown/tan tones and each has varying degrees of natural mineral staining.

The stone is a blend of ashlar medium-sized linear pieces and larger rectangular castle rock-style pieces. Mooresville’s unique and defining feature is the visible grains within the individual pieces. This is a characteristic unique to schists as the grains are larger, longer, and flatter which makes them more pronounced. Mooresville isn’t quarried in the standard fashion of excavating stone from the ground but is instead pulled from the side of a mountain.
