Saffron Hills is a dimensional or sawn height style natural sandstone thin veneer. This colorful blend of natural stone consists of brown, gold, grey, and tan tones. Saffron Hills showcases both the consistent tones of the interior part of the stone and the bright colors of the natural bedface. The thin stone is cut from sandstone that is architecturally approved for all applications due to its high compressive strength and low water absorption. Sandstone can have the connotation of being a softer or less durable stone. Although Saffron Hills is a natural sandstone, it is exceptionally durable. We do not quarry or cut any stone that does not pass ASTM requirements.
