Sheridan real thin stone veneer is cut from natural Wisconsin quarried dolomitic limestone. Wisconsin limestone is known for its durability due to its high strength and low water absorption. Sheridan is uniquely colorful for a limestone with the colors coming from an abundance of natural mineral staining. The tumbling process complements the stone by softening and muting the vibrant colors. Tumbling the stone pieces brings the stones together to create a cohesive look that flows on the finished wall. Sheridan’s individual pieces of stone are all roughly rectangular and are intended to be installed in a linear fashion.
