Professionally made 12"x13.5" display board made to show the stones range of color and texture. The pieces of stone will usually be sawn on the edges to fit the board whereas the actual product will not be. Price includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail and typically arrives within five business days. Sample costs are credited towards the stone order.

Townsend is a tumbled sandstone natural thin veneer. The stone has a rugged appearance reminiscent of stone used in old mining towns. Townsend showcases a natural blend of colors including brown, gold, grey, and copper tones. The shades and depths of colors come from the varying degrees of mineral staining within the quarry.

Townsend can be considered a fieldledge or ashlar style depending on the installation and your design goals. The stone can be installed in a linear fashion for an ashlar style but the pieces are slightly more irregular than your typical ashlar stone. Townsend may have an extended lead time dependent on seasons and weather conditions.
