Quarry Mill was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The staff could not have been more helpful and informative. The actual stone when it was delivered was gorgeous with many colors and veining. Our mason did a fantastic job with the installation and we are in love with the final result. We will definitely be using Quarry Mill for our next renovations.
Whistler is a natural fieldstone split into the castle rock style. The veneer starts as hand-picked natural fieldstone in irregular shapes. The pieces of stone are fed into the hydraulic press to be split into cleaner rectangular shapes. Only the larger pieces of stone with a flat surface are used to create Whistler. The stone shows an abundance of natural weathering and color variation due to being exposed to the elements for centuries. Although still within the weight tolerance for natural stone veneer, Whistler is a product we cut slightly thicker to ensure beautiful large pieces.
