Strasburg Natural Thin Stone Veneer

Strasburg is a tumbled real thin cut sandstone veneer with soft and neutral tones.  The thin stone showcases a blend of both the splitface and bedface of the natural stone. The splitface shows the interior part of the stone slabs created by breaking or splitting the stone with a hydraulic press. The splitface pieces of Strasburg provide the gray tones. The bedface is the natural mineral-stained outer part of the stone slabs. The bedface pieces of Strasburg provide the more colorful gold, off-white, and tan tones to the product.

Strasburg is a tumbled stone. The tumbling process gives the stone a softer and older appearance by rounding the edges and lightly scuffing or weathering the faces of the stone.  Strasburg can be installed with a white mortar as it makes the neutral stone pop, or with a flush mortar joint to complement the old-world tumbled appearance.
