Mont Blanc Natural Thin Stone Veneer
Mont Blanc is a white and grey natural thin stone veneer. The stone is 100% split face showing the interior part of the natural stone slabs. Split face products are created by breaking the stones with a 300-ton hydraulic press. Mont Blanc falls loosely into the ashlar style but is referred to as a strip product within with stone industry. The reference comes from the naturally uniform layers within the quarry. There is not enough height variation from the uniform layers to do a typical ashlar pattern where the size differences in the pieces break up the rows. Therefore, when Mont Blanc is installed, there are strips across the wall similar to a brick pattern or what can also be called course heights.
