Vancouver is a natural granite cut into thin stone veneer.  The stone showcases blue and grey pieces with beautiful natural veining.  Tan and brown pieces are blended with the blue and grey pieces to add the color variation that makes Vancouver.  The finished veneer is cut from extremely hard pieces of natural quarried granite.  The irregular pieces are first squared up meaning the stones are snapped into rectangular shapes with a hydraulic press.  Vancouver falls into the castle rock style; however, the pieces are a little rougher compared to some of our other options.  This roughness is due to the uneven way the granite naturally splits.
