Cannon Beach Natural Thin Stone Veneer
Cannon Beach is a natural sandstone in a mosaic pattern with a tumbled finish. This type of sandstone is referred to as bluestone within the industry due to the blueish tones found within the stone. Cannon Beach has a soft color range of greys, light blues, and occasional purple hues. The individual pieces of stone have an unusually soft texture even for a tumbled stone. This thin veneer is not sawed but rather split on the back due to the extremely well and consistent layering of the quarry. The split back will have no impact on the installation or final appearance. Cannon Beach has larger pieces that are great for large-scale projects. Due to the larger pieces, the thickness is closer to 1.5” and architecturally approved for any structurally sound wall.
