Cold Spring is a natural quartzite thin stone veneer with beautiful dark tones. The stone is unique from our other offerings due to the small size of the individual pieces. Cold Spring showcases only the edges of the unusually small slabs, which gives the stone its natural rough texture.
When Cold Spring is unearthed, it looks almost like stacks of frisbees. The edges are sawed at a depth of about an inch and a half to create the natural thin veneer. The small pieces lend themselves to modern design, giving an almost dizzying pop and movement to the wall. It is important to discuss this stone choice with your mason ahead of time, as there may be additional labor time and installation costs due to the small pieces.
