Promenade Natural Thin Stone Veneer

Promenade natural stone veneer represents an old-world colonial look with a soft, tumbled finish.  The stone starts as natural quarried limestone where the sheets or slabs of stone are split into smaller usable blocks.  The blocks are fed into a large drum which slowly spins allowing the pieces to fall on and bash into one another.  This is a very loud process that requires a significant buffer zone for noise when it is in operation.  The previously sharp-edged pieces emerge with soft rounded corners and a smooth scuffed texture. Tumbling the natural limestone in this fashion gives it a distressed look which adds to its beauty. The tumbled pieces are fed into the saw to create the thin veneer and final Promenade product.​
