Chamonix is a beautiful dimensional style natural thin stone veneer.  The soft and pleasing blend of grays and buffs makes for a neutral and versatile design option.  Chamonix is sawn to three set heights intended to be installed by a mason with a half-inch mortar joint between the pieces.  The pieces are sawn on the ends rather than snapped or machine-cut which creates a more formal appearance compared to our other dimensional stones. Chamonix exclusively shows the bedace of the stone which are the tops and bottoms of the sandstone slabs in the shelf rock quarry. The bedface creates a soft but natural texture.
