I purchased Oxford Diamond and Shelton from Quarry Mill. My mason installed the stone on our house and it looks beautiful. The employees at Quarry Mill answered all my questions. Oxford Diamond is predominately dark grey mosaic style natural stone veneer. The individual stones have some variation in color with occasional lighter greys and tans. Oxford Diamond is aptly named as the stones have a small hint of shine when the sun hits them. This is a split back product due to the approximately 1” layers in the quarry. A split or natural back as masons call it has no impact on the installation or final appearance. Oxford Diamond is one of our most affordable premium natural thin stone veneer options due to the decreased production cost of not sawing the back of the stone with a diamond blade.
