Door County Fieldstone Natural Thin Stone Veneer
Door County Fieldstone is a natural weathered limestone thin veneer. Every piece of Door County Fieldstone has natural weathering and stratification which gives the stones horizontal ripples. The texture is exclusive to weathered limestone and is caused by the layering of the stone and exposure to the elements. Some of the pieces can appear earth tone; these are the stones that come into contact with the topsoil and have been stained by the minerals within the soil over the years. The rustic limestone has been used throughout Door County for decades and is what gives the area its historic charm and feel.
