Baileys Harbor is a limited supply Door County natural thin cut limestone veneer. The stone is a rare dark quarried split face that shows exclusively the interior part of the stone slab. The color of the stone is determined by the mineral composition within the ground. The layers of Door County limestone range in color from light to dark. The layers are hand sorted based on color with the lighter layers becoming our Empire product. The very dark pieces that showcase black veining are set aside for Baileys Harbor. Once we have accumulated enough of the dark stone, we do a production run to create the Baileys Harbor product. This product is a very unique and limited supply Door County limestone.
