Amherst is a natural thin quartzite veneer in the dimensional style. It is not common to have a quartzite stone that can be cut into the dimensional style. Dimensional stones are typically cut from quarries without significant layering, which produces large, solid blocks of stone. These types of quarries are not usually made of quartzite, but the quarry that produces Amherst is able to extract large blocks needed for the saw work.
Amherst is a bold, beautiful, and unusually colorful dimensional natural stone veneer that is versatile with its color variation. The stone is an imported product that we have in stock and ready to ship in 100 square foot pallets.
