Saint Lawrence is an earth tone natural cobblestone veneer.  Cobblestone is also referred to as a river rock style or round side out.  Saint Lawrence is not quarried in the typical fashion but rather collected from ancient geological deposits.  Some of our natural stone veneer products are tumbled manually in a mechanical machine to create a softer appearance. Saint Lawrence on the other hand has been tumbled by nature over thousands of years. You can see nature’s tumbling action by viewing and feeling the smooth pieces of stone in a river. The stones are in a constant state of flux rubbing and grinding against each other and eventually becoming round. This is where the term river rock comes from.
